They keep calling and calling. I don't know the number so I've not been answering it, but it's getting extremely annoying!

Many people get calls from this number, sometimes twice or three times a day. Upon answering, you may either get a telemarketing pitch or no answer at all. The things they have tried to sell, based on comments from those who have received calls from this number, include free magazines from Best Buy and debt relief. The company has been called "Portfolio Recovery Services", but that is likely not the only name they go by. They are based in Norfolk, VA. Some people who have asked them to stop calling only get calls from a different phone number. These calls occur in some cases up to two or three times a day.

Phishing! Lady wanted to "verify my information" from a diabetic survey I took online. I never took such a survey. I hung up.

Pre-recorded message. When I told them I couldn't hear them they just kept talking. When I said hello 3 times, they still kept talking. Obviously a pre-recorded message. I am on every NO CALL and NO MAIL list I know of. Obviously it does no good to be on either one because of all the junk mail and telemarketer calls received.

I never answer, but they keep calling.

The first time this number called, I was at work and they left a voice mail. The message is very muffled and you can't understand what they are saying. I managed to pick out the 512 phone number, but couldn't catch anything else they said. The number in the message did not match the number that came up on caller ID. Since that day, they have called several other times and not left messages. Looking online, it appears that this is a scam phone call.

I picked up and they hung up.

I not only got a call from this number. They called my home phone, my cell, and my mom's cell. Plus someone showed up at my house and put a piece of loose leaf paper in my mail box. It said "Ryan call Matthew Nolan. at this number." Then they called my neighbor. I talked to them and they said it was about a Check and Go account I used in 08. They said I bounced a check. I haven't had a bank account since 06. Its got to be some kind of scam
